Portugal
The motorways are not free in Portugal and are charged by Via Verde. We rent motorway toll readers from them for each of the vans. There is a €20 activation fee if you use this toll reader, per rental contract.
The device is linked directly to the vehicle’s license plate, so even if you see a yellow light on the screen when passing a toll booth, the system is still working and the toll will be correctly registered.
