In the California both the driver's seat and the passenger's seat can swivel. To do so, open the side door so that you can get around easily and the door doesn't get scratched and follow these steps:
Note: for the driver's seat to rotate, you will need to release the handbrake and ensure that the van is in park mode
1. Adjust the seat in a way that the van isn't scratched when rotating it;
2. Make sure the backrest is in a vertical position, using the wheel on the left side of the seat;
3. Pull the lever to the right that you have under the seat (see photo below) and swivel it.
