How to know if the van is charging?
Before assuming your van is not charging, you should know that if you can use the socket inside or if the leisure battery is between 13v-14.4v it means the van is charging.
What to do if the van is not charging
The most common issue that prevents the van to charge is the socket from the campsite.
Confirm that you have paid for electricity at the campsite or there will be no power on the socket. Even if you have paid for it, the socket might be experiencing an issue or it might be something else.
Please follow the instructions below:
- Try to plug any device into the campsite socket and see if it works. If it doesn't work with a different device, the problem comes from the socket. This should be reported to the campsite;
- Check if the switches, located inside the kitchen cupboard, are up (on position);
- Make sure that the cable is properly connected to the van;
- Confirm that the black plug under the driver's seat is connected (photo below).
After following these instructions, please check the voltage of your van or if you are able use the socket inside the van.
