If you find yourself unable to cook, you might have ran out of gas. However, before assuming the gas bottle is empty, please follow the instructions below:
- Open the cupboard below the stove;
- Look for a pipe with a valve attached (this is the gas valve);
- If the valve is perpendicular to the pipe, this means the gas supply is closed. Please open the gas supply by aligning the valve with the pipe;
- In case step number 3 did not solve your issue, please locate your gas bottle.
- In the lower part of the cupboard you will find a lid - lift it and you will have access to your gas bottle;
Note: In some vans there is an additional gas valve, which is located near the gas bottle. If your van has it, please make sure this one is also open.
6. Take the gas bottle out and shake it. Does it feel that there is still liquid in there? If not, it means your gas bottle is empty. If there is still gas, make sure the gas supply is open by turning the gold knob anti-clockwise.
In case the steps above did not work, you most likely ran out of gas. You will need to buy a new gas bottle or refill yours. Please follow the link below to locate the nearest gas distributor:
