Please follow the instructions below:
- Put yourself in a safe place;
- The driver should wear the reflective vest and set up the triangle at least 30 meters away from the van;
- Prepare the following information to report to our customer support agent:
- Your current location, a reference point is highly appreciated;
- Number of people inside our vehicle;
- Is someone injured? In case immediate medical assistance is needed, please call 112; - None of the vehicles should be moved from the crash site and you should call the closest police station.
- Take photos of all the damages in both vehicles that resulted from the accident.
After doing the step above, make sure to take a picture in which both vehicle plates are visible;
Move 50 meters away from the place where the accident happened site and take some photos of the crash site and the surroundings.
All pictures should be sent to support@siestacampers.com --> Please mention your booking number on the subject. - Call our support line +351 308 808 058 --> between 9h and 18h.
Call our emergency line (number listed on your rental agreement) after business hours. - Fill the accident report inside the glove box compartment and make sure that both parties involved sign the document. Keep the original and provide the copy to the other party or vice-versa.
- In case there is the need to have your van towed please do not take the taxi before the van is towed, your presence is mandatory until the van is towed.
